Forgotten Playland Enters Web3 with Blockchain Integration on Avalanche
Battle royale game reveals new NFTs and economic features on Beam Network
Social battle royale game Forgotten Playland is diving deeper into Web3 integration and player ownership by partnering with the Beam Network, an independent layer-1 blockchain built on Avalanche’s consensus mechanism.
Key Developments
- Forgotten Playland integrates with Beam Network, enabling permanent ownership of game assets.
- Players will earn two types of NFTs: cosmetics (skins, traits, emotes) and Toyboxes (limited-edition bundles).
- New in-game token FP is used for upcoming play-to-airdrop campaign named FLUFFY.
- Enhanced content features include the Battle Pass system and seasonal challenges.

The integration paves the way for a play-to-airdrop campaign called FLUFFY. Players earn points based on their cosmetics, activity, and quest completion. These points, alongside tradable NFTs and the native FP token, create an internal economy that incentivizes greater engagement.
Web3 Assets and Economic System
This strategic move transforms previously earned or purchased items into verifiable digital ownership. “Most in-game assets within Forgotten Playland become freely tradeable,” said Bakker.

Players will acquire two different NFTs on the Beam Network:
- Cosmetics: Unique skins, character traits, and animated emotes – obtainable through gameplay, battle pass bundles, and potentially from Toyboxes.
- Toyboxes: Special, time-limited bundles available periodically; act as prestigious collections with unique rewards.
Upcoming Content and the FLUFFY Campaign
Alongside the Web3 launch, the development team released considerable platform updates. The Battle Pass feature and Toybox functionality have been introduced, offering players seasonal rewards and exclusive packages for engagement.
“Expect more Battle Pass and Toybox features,” Bakker teased. “In two weeks, we will add two new party games to the mix. After that we will focus on the Plushkyn Battle feature.”
The immediate future also holds additions including:
- New seasonal challenges
- Tangible rewards
- Full support for German language
Beam Network Partnership
The development studio behind Forgotten Playland, Duckland Games, described its partners as crucial. The game is developed by Vermillion, a collaboration with the Beam Foundation.
