B3 Acquires Andromeda Insights to Launch Crypto-Integrating Gaming PCs
Crypto-focused blockchain L3 network B3 has acquired PC hardware builder Andromeda Insights, leveraging the established startup’s financial success and capabilities to launch its first consumer product: the B3PC. The integrated gaming PC includes blockchain functionalities and is available for preorder.

The acquisition targets Andromeda’s impressive operational metrics, the PC startup achieving “millions” in annual revenue with 1,000% year-over-year growth without dedicated marketing resources, according to B3.
Product Features
An example configuration of the customizable B3PC reveals seven pre-installed case fans, T-Force RAM modules, an RTX 5090 graphics card, and B3’s signature blue-lit theme. Reported specs showcase the desktop’s gaming potential.
Each system comes equipped with an integrated Trezor hardware wallet and an NFT that maps the PC on-chain. Security features include built-in SSD wiping capabilities, with two notable options:
- Secure Erase: Digitally purges the SSD, enabling reuse even if the PC loses power.
- Self-Destruct: Erases NAND flash memory via high-voltage burning by holding the dedicated “Destroy” button for 10 seconds.

Besides these unique features, the B3PCs incorporate AES encryption, withstand extreme temperatures from -55°C to 125°C, and feature power surge protection.
Pricing, Preorders, and Limited Release
Preorders are now accepted, with a $200 deposit option in either fiat or cryptocurrency. Production is expected to commence early next year, though exact shipping dates have yet to be confirmed. Discount opportunities exist for token purchases.
Assembled systems are priced between $1,400 and $4,999.; while high-end custom gaming PCs typically cost $1,500–$2,500 to assemble, and prebuilt systems often carry a higher premium.
About B3
Founded by former Coinbase employees, B3 is currently focusing solely on gaming hardware, positioning itself within a specialized niche. The B3PC aims to attract privacy-conscious gamers and adopters of “rugged” technology.
B3’s gaming hardware vision aligns with but differentiates itself from its network Layer 3 blockchain, which currently handles less than 0.1% of Base ecosystem transactions. B3’s B3 network has recorded over 119 million transactions since launch.
The hardware launch may be B3’s first direct-to-consumer product, which CEO Ben Wang described in promotional materials as “the hardware.”
